Mouth-Watering Berry and Vanilla Cream Trifle for Foodie Friday
By Tania Dooley
Ingredients:
1 store-bought pound cake, sliced
2) In another medium bowl, add the pint of whipping cream and add the 3 tbsp of sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla. Whip until it is fluffy, about 7 minutes. I prefer this method over the Cool Whip.
5) Keep repeating process #4 until the top layer in which you will add the remaining whip cream and top off with blueberries.
Simple Trifle Desert/Cake
This only takes about 30 minutes to prepare ingredients, and about 15 minutes to put together. Total time: 45 minutes.
It's strawberry season so what do you do with all your extra strawberries before they go to waste? Make a trifle. A Trifle is an English desert that contains layers of fruit, thinly layered cake, custard and whipped cream. For this desert recipe the custard is substituted with pudding.

1 store-bought pound cake, sliced
1 box Godiva vanilla instant pudding (or any other brand you'd like)
1 pint of whipping cream (or 1 container of Cool Whip)
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups of strawberries, sliced
2 cups of blueberries
Instructions:
Preparing ingredients
1) In a medium bowl prepare the instant pudding according to instructions. Instant pudding requires two cups of milk per package. Whip until soft, about 2 minutes. Set aside in refrigerator, covered.
3) Take the pudding out of the fridge and begin assembling the Trifle.
4) In a trifle bowl, on the bottom add a layer of pound cake, then add a scoop of pudding and slather. Add a thin layer of whipped cream, and add a layer of strawberries.
6) Cover with plastic, refrigerate for about 20 minutes. This process allows the pound cake to soak the vanilla cream and whipped cream. Serve and enjoy.
